In Texas, Dallam, Deaf Smith, Hartley, Moore, Oldham, Potter, Randall, and Sherman Counties. * WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 9 AM CST this morning. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from Monday evening through Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
