Special Weather Statement issued March 15 at 6:12PM EDT by NWS Wakefield VA Cameras and observations indicate that areas of fog have moved into parts of the Lower Eastern Shore, especially near the Atlantic coast. Visibilities will vary between one quarter and two miles...but could drop below one quarter mile at times. The fog is expected to persist through the remainder of the evening and part of tonight. Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to the fog. Drive at reduced speeds and use low beam headlights only.
