Cold Weather Advisory issued February 10 at 2:07PM PST until February 12 at 12:00PM PST by NWS Spokane WA * WHAT...Very cold temperatures as low as 12 below expected. * WHERE...Metaline, Orin-Rice Road, Newport, Springdale-Hunters Road, Fruitland, Inchelium, Sherman Pass, Wauconda, Chesaw Road, Tiger, Ione, Metaline Falls, Northport, Colville, Flowery Trail Road, Boulder Creek Road, Chewelah, Highway 20 Wauconda Summit, Deer Park, Kettle Falls, and Republic. * WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to noon PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind chills in the mountains as low as 15 below zero. Most lowlands will be sheltered from the winds with readings of 5 to 10 below zero. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
