Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly. Winter Storm Warning issued January 19 at 8:42PM EST until January 20 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA * WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Higher elevations of southwest Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia. * WHEN...Until 9 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous as temperatures drop drastically overnight. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.
